March 15 2004:
We received a partial shipments today for Staff of Saruman, Unlimited Anduril The Sword of King Elessar, Daggers of Legolas yesterday. But we still do not have enough to fill all pre-orders. We will fill pre-orders according to how they were received. Other shipments will follow in coming weeks. Almost all retailers received partial shipments. United will fill the remaining orders in the upcoming weeks.

February 2004: The Sauron Collection
Awesome news for those of the dark side of Middle Earth! With United Cutlery's has officially announced the release of a "Sauron Collection". According to Kit Rae, the Art Director and Product Designer at United Cutlery," it will be wearable & include the Sauron sized ring. The Sauron collection will be sold individually. February 2004: Glamdring Scabbard to be released
United Cutlery has said they are indeed going to make the scabbard for Glamdring. Kit Rae said back in November of 2003 they are just waiting on getting the actual movie prop at United before they can proceed so it shouldn't be much longer before we see this requested scabbard.
February 20004: Selection at Blades by Brown
You may have noticed a limited supply of products available to our customers here at BBB That is because the Christmas shoppers almost completely cleaned us out of regular inventory items. United Cutlery is unable to supply us with more inventory of regular stock items until sometime in March. We have been told to expect normal shipments of in stock items the first part of March, until then we do apologize for the limited selection here at Blades by Brown.

February 2004: Helm of Sauron to be made.
Many fans of the dark side of Lord of the Rings will be happy to hear that this Helm will be made by United Cutlery. It will likely be much more limited in number than the Helm of Elendil or Gimli's Helm. The helmet will be made of fiberglass because of the intricate design of the helm it was unable to be made from metal. Fully functional and wearable and like the other that pre-ceded it should be leather lined but don't hold me to that. It will come complete with wooden display stand with "the One Ring Inscription. They will be reproduced from the actual prop helmets using only the finest grade materials and skilled hand craftsmanship. Includes a parchment certificate of authenticity. February 2004: Battle Axe of Gimli & his other axes to be Made!
United Cutlery's Battle Axe of Gimli has already been confirmed as a new release for 2004. I should be priced similar to Hadhafang. It will be made of Iron, not resin. United Cutlery plans on making a Gimli axe collection if the Battle Axe of Gimli does well. The bearded axe and walking axe would follow. February 2004: Staffs now Available for Pre-Order
United Cutlery confirmed in the Fall of 2003 Lord of the Rings Weapons & Armour catalog, the first two staffs in the Staff Collection will be The Staff of Gandalf the White & The Staff Of Saruman will be released. We have placed or order for the new staffs already and expect them to be in soon. February 2004: Anduril Scabbard Coming in 2004!
United has formally announced that it will be releasing a scabbard for Anduril - the Sword of King Elessar sometime in 2004. This scabbard should fit all of the Narsil type swords including: Narsil - Sword of King Elendil (UC1267), Anduril - The Sword of King Elessar (UC1380ASLB) & Unlimited Anduril The Sword of King Elessar (UC1380ASNB)
February 2004 Helm of King Elendil is Now Shipping
Our first allotment of the Helmet of King Elendil - Limited Edition (UC1383) Came in the first week of February. We are now shipping out to our pre-order customers. This item is no longer a pre-order item, it is now a general sale item.
February 2004: Elven Knife of Strider is now Shipping
Partial shipments of the Elven Knife of Strider (UC1371) went out to retailers at the first of the month. We are now shipping out to our pre-order customers. Our second shipment came in today. This shipment will only cover about half of our pre-orders.
